Do you really hope that all people will be saved?  If there is not a lot of people in hell, then it doesn’t really matter that I get to heaven.

It’s almost like heaven is an exclusive country club for insiders only. The value of the membership is based on who is excluded as much as who is let in.

If there are so many people in hell, would it make your getting to heaven more rewarding?

We should not underestimate the greatness of God’s mercy for our sakes let alone others.  If we are trying to be like Christ, then why should we limit our love.

Hatred, cruelty, self-absorption, grudges, and all manner of sin must be burnt away.  If others are not willing to put such things away to follow Jesus, they will oppose you.  Like Jeremiah being lowered into the cistern, do not expect to be treated well. We know where following Christ will lead us.
